PAL: The Police Activities League is a youth crime prevention program that relies on educational, athletic and other recreational activities to cement a bond between police officers and the youth in our community. It is based on the conviction that young people – if they are reached early enough – can develop strong, positive attitudes towards police officers and the law.
HPSA: The Hollywood Police Support Association is a state-chartered non-profit corporation to enhance police-community partnership. The keynote of the Hollywood Police Support Association is involvement. Identifying the changing needs of our community is the key to reducing crime and maintaining a good quality of life. A partnership between the community, business leaders, and the Police Department is essential.
All ticket sales from screenings on Monday, September 11th at Arena Cinelounge Sunset will benefit the Hollywood Police Support Association (HPSA) and the Police Activities League (PAL).
