- Tara (Alanna Masterson) Walking Dead, Season 5 TARA, was with the Governor when he shot Hershel and bombed the heck out of the prison; ultimately destroying what had been a safe haven for Rick and the group. Tara could have drowned in the guilt that she held, after it all went down, because her gut had told her something was not right with the eerily charming ‘Governator.’ She went along with him like so much sheep, to her disgust and shame. It was Glenn who discovered her alive at the prison and forced her to come along with him as he searched for his wife, Maggie. Tara has learned forgiveness; through Glenn, then Rick, then Maggie. It’s her turn. Is she ready to forgive herself? (Courtesy of AMC – Photo by Frank Ockenfels)
- Carol, who lost her own daughter during the first year of the viral attack, holds JUDITH GRIMES. Daughter of Rick and sister of Carl, Judith will never know her mother Lori, who died while giving birth to her child. One could speculate—having not read the graphic novels—if everyone on earth is a potential carrier of the virus, will we discover that Judith has a genome which could turn out to be the nucleus of a cure? BTW: Shane Walsh, Judith’s other possible father, will never be forgotten, but for now we go with Rick as Dad of the Year. (Photo by Gene Page – Courtesy of AMC)
- Abraham (Michael Cudlitz) Walking Dead, Season 5 SGT. ABRAHAM FORD is a walking-fighting force on two legs. His mission? To get Eugene to Washington, D.C. Like a horse with blinders he can only see in one direction: Forward. To Washington. Anything else is an annoying delay. However, he’s also a pragmatist. There is strength in numbers and once the group comes together it doesn’t take Abraham long to identify the value of having these fellow troupers at his back. He’ll bide his time with these folks if it ups the odds of his getting Eugene to D.C. in one piece. Is there anything else going on in his muscle addled head? Hmn…? - Rosita (Christian Serratos) Walking Dead, Season 5 Whither Abraham goeth, ROSITA goeth, but she also knows when and how to tell him he’s on the wrong side of right. Strong, calm and always ready to plunge on, she remains committed to getting Eugene to Washington with or without the group. (Courtesy of AMC – Photo by Frank Ockenfels)
- Dr. Proctor (Josh McDermitt) Walking Dead, Season 5 DR. PROCTOR claims he knows the secret trick that will allow the Dead to actually expire. Not a coward, he self admittedly knows nothing about fighting and the one time he tried to stave off a Walker attack, he shot the one working vehicle, at their disposal, full of holes rendering it useless. Still, if he is who he says he is and can do what he tells them he can do, he might be the most valuable member of the team and well worth protecting. (Photo by Gene Page – Courtesy of AMC)
- Father Gabriel Stokes (Seth Gilliam) Walking Dead, Season 5 First found in the woods FATHER GABRIEL, clinging to an oversized boulder, screams for his life as Walker’s claw and paw at his feet. Rescued by the group, the quickly vet him before cautiously following him back to his white clapboard church in the woods. Rick is convinced that the apparently humble minister is hiding something. His clothes are freshly pressed, his collar gleaming white and unfrayed. He looks as if he hasn’t missed a meal in the one and a half plus years since the world turned upside down. Oh, he’s a sinner alright, he tells Rick. Only he confesses his sins to God, not to a bunch of strangers. If your Spidey-sense is tingling (forgive the blending of mega-verses) then it’s for good reason. It’s usually the nice ones that are the most despicable (Photo by Gene Page – Courtesy of AMC)
- Gareth (Andrew J. West) Walking Dead, Season 5 5) Do we all inhabit a bit of dark somewhere deep? Coming to terms with that continues to be a major theme among members of this post-apocalyptic environment. And if that is so, GARETH, the leader of Terminus, is the physical embodiment of The Devolution of Man. He has already gone to the dark side when Rick and The WD group straggle and stagger into what was supposed to be a sanctuary; which, of course, it was not. During their escape, one of Rick’s bullets looked as if it struck home, knocking Gareth off his feet. Walking Dead alum aren’t buying it… that he’s dead. No, his home has been destroyed by the very people he meant to slaughter, strip like cattle and barbecue for lunch. Gareth will not stay back and lick his wounds. He’s about to play The Most Dangerous Game of all. (Courtesy of AMC – Photo by Frank Ockenfels)
- Morgan (Lennie James) Walking Dead, Season 5 It’s about time. MORGAN was the first Live Man Walking that Rick met after he awoke from a coma’d sleep to find the world had gone ca-razy viral. His wife and son gone, he took it upon himself to “clear” the world of the Walkers. He nearly “cleared” himself mentally in the process. It appears as if Morgan is back and headed for Terminus when he sees the No Sanctuary sign. He takes it in that quick and heads in a different direction. He’s a changed man headed… we’re not sure where, but given time, he could come to save Rick’s life or vice versa one more time. After all, as Rick tells Tara, that’s what they do.
