C.J. KeavneyC.J. Keavney has been creating stories since childhood in a small North Georgia town near Atlanta. She began writing stories in grade school about super hero girls and women that she also illustrated. After earning a journalism degree from the University of Georgia, C.J. worked as a reporter, editor, columnist and freelance writer. In addition to news and features, she’s covered rock, jazz, R&B and classical concerts and reviewed movies, plays and art exhibits. C.J. also taught television programming as an adjunct college professor.

Stints in public relations, corporate communications and healthcare marketing included living in Georgia and Florida. Since moving to California, C.J. has worked in biotechnology and publishing. She also has written for nonprofits and community organizations.
