The purpose of tariffs is clear:
to make foreign purchases dear.
So then we’ll buy local
we’ll be U.S. focal
to keep manufacturing near.
But what if we’re only the buyers…
we don’t manufacture, we hire?
We need it? We’ll pay
whatever they say!
Tariffs just make prices higher.
