Rectify—Season One, Day Four (Video)

For Daniel Holden, danger lurks not just behind shadows, but in the harsh light of day; often prancing down the middle of Main Street, in broad daylight,. Still, in the southern town of Paulie, in the midst of all the intrigue, daily life goes on.

By day four it remains unclear whether Daniel Holden is guilty or innocent of the murder of his girlfriend, Hanna Dean. Someone has died already since—and, it is implied, because of—Daniel’s sudden release from prison. As the body has yet to be discovered, the reasons remain unclear.

Here Rectify creator Ray McKinnon explains the simple logistics of shopping for glasses with his mother Janet (J. Smith-Cameron) on Daniel Holden’s fourth day of freedom.  (*Photo by Blake Tyers)
