‘Sense8′ Trailer of the Wachowskis’ Newest Thriller

Friday, June 5 we will discover what it means to be “reborn” as a “Sensate.” That’s the day Netflix unveils from writer/creators Lana and Andy Wachowski and J. Michael Straczynski a daring new 12 episode dramatic thriller: Sense8.

The basic plot goes like this: Eight ordinary (or sort of) everyday people, from various parts of the world, find themselves joined—somehow, someway just like that—in a mental link with one another.

Is it all at the same time? Is it one person at a time… two or three? Do they see the other person when they look in a mirror? Can they hear only thoughts or do they hear what the other person says when they speak? And where does the link stop… because it appears that they share more than just a mind.

Therein lies the danger as well. For where there are those who are different, there will be those who will want them out of the way. Will the eight be so busy trying to stay alive, they can never figure just what the heck happened to them and why?

Check out the trailer:
